Mission Statement
Hillside Wellness Center is a non-profit, Community Counseling Center, dedicated to provide affordable inclusive mental health services to individuals, couples, and families who reside in Sherman Oaks and the surrounding areas to help promote positive mental health and social-emotional outcomes for residents and their families within their community. In addition to services for residents, Hillside strives to provide comprehensive training and supervision for interns who are working towards licensure in the mental health field.

At Hillside Wellness Center, we focus on serving community members all over Sherman Oaks and the surrounding areas, we have been able to provide affordable mental health services to the local community, thanks to the support of community members. Hillside Wellness Center has a mission to provide affordable mental health services to new mothers, as many new mothers do not have the vital resources necessary to address their mental health challenges. According to the CDC, about 1 in 9 women experience postpartum depressive symptoms. This places them, their newborn babies, and their families at risk. It is likely that you or someone you know has experienced these postpartum struggles. Without mental health treatment, these families are at even greater risk.
In addition to specializing in the treatment of postpartum depression and other birth/pregnancy-related challenges, Hillside Wellness Center specializes in the treatment of addiction and relapse prevention; support for cancer, caregiver and trauma treatments; and treatment for anxiety, depression, and relational stressors. Our mental health services are highly inclusive, individualized, and holistic, fostering client success through the services of well-trained, empathetic therapists.
