Mission Statement

It is our mission to assist incarcerated with educational material in order to improve their reading skills. We openly accept requests from any inmate, and we will mail them reading material in their requested area of interest, free of charge. We also accept and organize donated books, textbooks, magazines, and other reading and educational material. We fill a vital role as a well-known and approachable independent organization amongst inmates.

Description

MWBTP is an independent, volunteer-ran 501c3 non-profit organization determined to help prisoners achieve their educational goals through providing requested reading materials. Based in Chicago, we have been serving inmates from all over the Midwestern region of the United States since 2004.
