Mission Statement

Heart's Place Shelter's, a mission of St.John's of Baltimore City United Methodist Chuurch, has a two-fold purpose: (a) To provide a continuum of direct services to the homeless including seasonal overnight emergency shelter and year round day program of case management to individuals about to be homeless, the homeless and the formerly homeless. (b) To be advocates for the homeless by providing education to the public about the needs of the homeless and working in cooperation with other agencies that provided services to the homeless.

Description

Heart's Place offers emergency shelter(from November thru April) on Sunday and Monday nights only. Case Management is offered by appointment onMondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and throughout the year when theshelter is closed. The Drop-in Center is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Advocacy and bags of food are dispensed during this timeperiod.
