JOHNSON CHAPEL COMMUNITY RESOURCE INSTITUTE

Description

Located in northern Brunswick County, North Carolina, Johnson Chapel Community Resource Institute (JCCRI) is a newly formed 501(c)3 organization. It is an outreach of Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, which has been a spiritual anchor in the community for over 100 years. While Johnson Chapel’s mandate is to "deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, preaching, proclamation and teaching," its membership feel that the greatest expression of our love of God is through service to all mankind. In the past, it has hosted many community events; however, through its formalized structure, Johnson Chapel is committed to ministering outside the walls of our church having more of an individual impact. To that end, JCCRI attempts to positively inspire and affect the lives of all residents surrounding northern Brunswick County by providing opportunities for enrichment. Our focus is primarily on our youth and seniors as we initially provide assistance to those most vulnerable.
