To provide care that enriches the quality of life for terminally ill patients and their loved ones by delivering exceptional care with compassion, integrity, and respect
Our program strives to provide support for patients at end-of-life through nursing services, social work, spiritual care, and volunteer support services. Enhancing the quality of life of patients in a non-aggressive, comfortable way is the ultimate goal for our health care team. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given the choice as to what types of activities you want to participate in and how much time you are willing to contribute. Typical volunteer responsibilities may include:
Social support--visiting and companionship, reading/writing letters, visiting with pets, playing music
Support for Families--offering respite relief, shopping, errands, meal pre
Office Support--assistance with mailings, phone calls, filing, etc.
