Mission Statement

Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. Jumpstart provides language, literacy, and social-emotional programming for preschool children from under-resourced communities and promotes quality early learning for all.

Description

Jumpstart is a national non-profit that works to connect college students, both undergraduate and graduate, with low-income preschools to provide supplemental language and social skill development. Additionally, we facilitate service projects that engage the outside community and connect a larger audience to our mission.
