Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Description

In 2017 the Santa Clarita Salvation Army provided meals and snacks to almost 7000 people, provided basic social services to almost 5000 people, and helped over 2500 people with holiday meals and Christmas gifts and clothing to children and seniors. We provide help to the homeless with personal hygiene kits and homeless food banks. We sent over 250 kids to summer camp and helped get men and women in need of recovery services into a Salvation Army Rehab Center. We have one major fund raising event that helps support all of these services. Our Red Kettle Bell Ringing helps to fund all of these services within the Santa Clarita area.
