Mission Statement

The Big Andrew Foundation is a non-profit watermen's collective and community empowerment network dedicated to inspiring individuals to lead a purposeful, healthy and active lifestyle through our relationship with the ocean and contributing waterways.

Description

The Big Andrew Foundation is a community and collective of passionate watermen, survivors, volunteers and families that all rally around the common passion we have for helping those in need and having a strong, soulful relationship with the ocean and its contributing waterways. Every year we host events on both the east and west coasts that bring passionate water sports enthusiasts together to build community, insight environmental awareness and raise money to support cancer patients and their families on the road to recovery. Each year, we make progress on our mission by building our community up, seeing more and more individuals rally around each event. We're fortunate to see surfers, paddlers and kayakers of all ages, inspired by our cause, coming back year after year. We see individuals and families touched by the moral support of The Big Andrew Foundation and our warm network of caring individuals alongside the financial assistance we provide to them. We do this through our love for surfing, kayaking and paddling and our indelible admiration of the worlds most wondrous resource, our beloved ocean and her contributing waterways. This innate drive we have to spend time at the source of life, while raising awareness and providing assistance to those who need the inspiration most, make for a volunteering experience that can only be described as incredible. For those that are involved we thank you and for those interested we would love for you to come join us. We look forward to continuing our efforts and keeping the spirit of youth, wellness and aloha alive!
