Provide a continuum of resources to the female veteran community whether disabled, distressed, despondent, helpless, hopeless, and or homeless
Description
The Women Veterans Unity Group is responsible for the development of local, state and national collaborative, partnerships, coalitions among organizations to strengthen the links and close the gaps for gender-specific services. We are committed to assisting women veteran transition from military to civilian life, achievements in the work place, and her pursuit of happiness. To reach all Female Military/Veterans with various assistance, benefits and entitlements, referrals, membership opportunities, employment and educational awareness/resources by attending and or facilitating various California events, conferences, workshops, seminars, educational events, meetings/groups etc., and anything associated with female veterans including other state programs (as needed) to improve our effectiveness to gender-specific issues, provide and promote The Women Veterans Unity Group program of services. We endeavor to actively seek to expand our programming to meet the dynamics of evolving impacts unique to each new generation coming home. Yet, maintaining a common thread which is, providing resources, empowering support meetings/groups for military/veteran women and her needs.
