Description

Families Give Back connects families with children between the ages of 6-16 with age-appropriate volunteer opportunities that the whole family can participate in together. Most organizations that need volunteers only want young adults age 16+, but there are kids of all ages along with their families that want to give back to their community. Middle and high schools have community service requirements, but more often than not, neither the children nor their parents know where to begin to look for volunteer opportunities. That's where FAMILIES GIVE BACK comes in. We partner with nonprofits such as soup kitchens, food pantries, senior homes, community cleanups and more to bring them the volunteers they need. Parents and children volunteering together is an exceptional bonding experience while doing good for others is a lifelong transformational endeavor.
