Our horsemanship program has been around more than 25 years, and has served thousands of children. Volunteers at our facility do everything from helping children with their horses in class, to filling water troughs, to mowing the lawn - wherever you feel your talents are best used, we appreciate the help!
While we have the strongest need for volunteers with horse experience who can safely lead equines during mounted classes, we also need help with office work, property maintenance, and a variety of other tasks. If you don't have horse experience but would like to gain it, ask! We're happy to train you in new areas!
On average, we serve approximately 500 children yearly in thousands of lesson hours, and each child can require up to three helpers. As you can imagine, that's a TON of volunteers!
