Volunteer Job Posting: Board Member Organization Overview: Friends of the Community Learning Center (CLC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing the cause of the Community Learning Center in Cambridge. Our mission is to raise both private funds and public awareness, ensuring the CLC can continue to offer free educational programs to adults. These transformative programs empower individuals to learn English, enhance literacy skills, earn high school credentials, become U.S. citizens, or prepare for college and careers. Annually, we play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of over 1,000 adult learners in the Cambridge community. Position Summary: We are actively seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our board. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the direction of our organization, ensuring we continue to make a positive impact in our community. Whether your expertise lies in finance, development, education, marketing, or any other field, we value the diverse perspectives and skills that each member brings to the table.
