The mission of Camp Summit is to provide barrier-free outdoor experiences that promote personal growth and foster independence for children and adults with disabilities.
Description
Camp Summit is a year-round residential camp for people with disabilities. Campers live in cabin units and participate in group and individual activities such as arts and crafts, horseback riding, sports, nature, swimming, ropes course, and/or performing arts. At Camp Summit, the focus is on what an individual can do, and we assist them in whatever way is needed to accomplish their goals.
Camp Summit's campground location is in Paradise, Texas.

Our son has attended this amazing camp for years and we cannot say enough about it. It's the highlight of his summer! The people that run this camp are incredible, giving, and creative with huge hearts. They consistently provide a place for our special needs children to go that's both safe and fun where they can enjoy the great outdoors among friends.
