Mission Statement

THE YASHAR PROJECT is comprised of men and women who love God and are concerned about the deplorable conditions we have seen in the most impoverished countries around the world. Our desire to help comes from knowing how blessed we are and wanting to make a difference in the world, in the name of Jesus Christ. We recognize there is value, worth and hope ingrained in all human life.

Description

Here are a few things we hope to accomplish:

  • Train and equip churches in the relational discipleship making process.
  • Inspire moral awareness through engaging life changing camp environments, with a curriculum geared toward awakening spiritual and social awareness.
  • Establish feeding centers to bring physical nourishment to the hungry and malnourished.
  • Providing educational assistance to children and youths to give them an opportunity to succeed and become self sufficient.
  • Organize world class medical missions to assist the sick and provide health education for all.
  • Assisting the unemployed with vocational and life skills training to increase their self-sufficiency and improve their chances of finding and maintaining gainful employment.
  • Partnering with like-minded organizations with a proven track records in their areas of focus and expertise in order to leverage experience, talent and resources to positively impact the world around us.
