New Mexico House Rabbit Society is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization whose mission is to help rabbits through shelter work, foster homes, vet care, and community education and outreach.

NMHRS assists shelters and the public by

providing volunteers to help care for shelter rabbits
providing educational materials for adopters
fostering rabbits
providing training to shelter staff on rabbit care and adoptions
holding adoption events
attending community animal events
teaching rabbit care classes to the public
