The Matthew Wallace foundation is a nonprofit philanthropic organization founded as a living memorial to perpetuate the memory & philosophy of Matthew through community programs & educational scholarships which impact children and women in need. Our mission is to engage and inspire students to be community leaders by promoting humanitarian values and offering goods & services in communities with under-served populations. To fulfill this mission our activities include: (a) providing tools to assist those in need to better understand/stabilize their current financial condition and enhance their economic well-being in the future; (b) providing humanitarian and recreational goods to those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, in shelters or who face potential shelter-insecurity; (c) providing scholarships to students in grades 4 through 11 in recognition of their community service and/or civic-mindedness.
Be the change Matthew wanted to see in the world by assisting the most vulnerable.Created in memory of Matthew Wallace, a 17 year old high school scholar and athlete killed in 2013. The organization started as a scholarship and quickly evolved into a community resource.
