ART TO REDUCE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA

Description

The purpose of ARMS is to challenge the stigma surrounding mental illness through art forms. We do this through hosting various art events for individuals with mental illness and allies. Then, per permission with the artists, the results of the art events are pitched to media outlets upon agreement with the artists. We believe that this process will increase both individual actions and institutional change to deconstruct the stigma surrounding mental illness
