With willing hands, fresh views, and open minds, volunteers support the Department’s mission by enhancing services, which provide inmates with the tools necessary to successfully re-enter the community and lead law-abiding lives.

To provide for the public’s safety through the confinement of pre-trial detainees and convicted offenders in safe and secure facilities, and by offering alternatives to incarceration and re-entry services which are comprehensive and effective.
