Mission Statement

A PTA’s overall purpose is to make every student’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The PTA supports families with skills in advocacy, leadership and communication.

Description

TECA PTA:
* Supports our school to have a strong foundation of parent-teacher leadership by receiving PTA training and facilitating collaboration with other local PTAs.
* Creates opportunities for partnership, communication and collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators.
* Increases effective parent engagement across all communities in TECA and SF, empowering parents to take on issues that are
important to their communities.
* Celebrates a culture of achievement of our schools by recognizing students who overcome challenges, educate parents, and benchmark
needs for long-term success of all our children.
