Mission Statement

As a parent, educator, and proud Houstonian who has the honor of serving the City of Houston as Council Member for District B, I am keenly aware of the needs of our City and have a vested interested in supporting our most vulnerable communities. While Houston has experience rapid growth and a thriving economy, in District B, continues to struggle with critical needs in access to quality education and resources. It is this that has motivated me to partner up with the local non-profit WAIIT and community partners to support our public schools with timely intervention tools, including programming and partnership with the local makerspace, TXRX Labs.
