Mission Statement

The mission of the Scholars of Tomorrow Family Care Center is to provide safe, affordable, high quality child care for the Oxon Hill community. In doing so, we support families in their efforts to reach their goals. SOT child care center provides a cognitively based program for children ages three to five years. We provide a home like environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. The SOT staff will be committed to the families we serve, providing support and encouragement.

Description

SOT will price ourselves lower than the larger commercially ran centers. Second, we will market ourselves as a customizable, personal, one-on-one day care center, where children are responded to immediately. Parents will be able to pick and choose what programs they want this child to participate in. SOT will only hire the best, most qualified employees, those with professional and educational experience. Parents will be able to meet with all staff members to get to know who will be helping their child become tomorrow’s leader. The small atmosphere SOT provides will allow for more one on one interaction which is crucial to children at this stage in their life.

SOT is an exciting opportunity that provides safe and reliable child care to Oxon Hill, MD. Through a combination of competitive pricing, excellent curricula and meals, outstanding customer service and an excellent staff, SOT will quickly gain market share and a reputation as a premier family child care provider. In the future, growth opportunities are endless. The families I would like to attract are those who value education. The first market includes full-time working couples, which will account for 80% of my customers. The second, wealthy grandparents, which will account for the other 20%.
