Who We Are

Believe & Inspire was born when the founder was in the process of going through an adoption through foster care and met Jake. Jake was only 20 years old. He told of how he was aging out of the foster care system and did not have any backup plans. Believe and inspire is seeking to provide financial literacy programs to Minorities, Black and Hispanic kids between the age 16-21 that are facing obstacles, children in foster care and underprivileged older children in the Metro New York City area. There will be counselors exposing the children to different careers that will help them to possibly become interested in finding jobs and moving out of the foster care system into a more stable environment.

Believe and Inspire works to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles, children that are lesser fortunate and also children that are older and are aging out of the foster care system.

Why are we special.

We are a team that is dedicated to making an impact for this group of children because they are a higher risk for homelessness. The statistics show that one in five ends up homeless. The mission of Believe and inspire it to provide financial literacy for them. Teach them some life’s skills so, they are of age, they will be more equipped to leave the ACS system more prepared to face life on their own.
