Mission Statement

Communities Promoting Animal Welfare NJ (CPAW NJ) is dedicated to keeping cats out of shelters by controlling the outdoor cat population and preventing surrenders. We are a team of area residents dedicated to promoting a humane approach to animal welfare and protecting the human/animal bond by being the voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Description

We offer workshops and participate in community events to promote awareness of ways to reduce the community cat population and reduce shelter intake. We provide information on low cost spay/neuter, how to help stabilize the outdoor cat population through trap, neuter, vaccinate, return (TNVR), where you can donate pet food, and talk about ways community members and businesses can get involved.
