Watering Minds has worked with a local community-run water kiosk in Haiti since 2016 to provide clean safe drinking water to approximately 30,000 students every day. Watering Minds has recently expanded into India and is now daily serving 999 students with clean water. In the coming months, we will be partnering with local community run operations in Cambodia and Ghana as well. Our goal is provide 500,000+ children with access to safe water by 2022. With diarrhea, which is largely preventable with access to clean water, being the 3rd leading cause of death among children in developing countries, our work not only offers a chance of survival but it also greatly increases their opportunities for a better education.
