RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed, everyday people. Together we use our voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty.

Volunteers receive training, support and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time we learn to effectively advise policy makers and Members of Congress, guiding them towards decisions that improve access to health, education and economic opportunity. Together we realize the incredible power we possess to use our voices to change the world.

We mostly work together in local chapters. In Washington State there are RESULTS chapters. We want to grow them all and create one in SW Washington to influence the Congressperson from the 3rd Congressional District (SW WA).

Volunteer advocates are backed by in-depth research, the legislative expertise of RESULTS staff, and detailed training. We learn to write letters, work with the media and meet with members of Congress. With every hour of our time, we multiply our impact through advocacy - whether helping change policy to support millions of families putting food on the table or helping raise billions of dollars for the most vulnerable children worldwide.

RESULTS advocates are not paid lobbyists: we are volunteers. We come from every corner of the country and around the world. We prove that every voice has power - and that by bringing all of our voices together, we can change the world.
