Mission Statement

Happiness is Camping's mission statement is to provide a "normal" summer camp experience for children suffering from cancer and other catastophic blood diseases, that are too sick to be out of sight of pediatric oncologists, or oncology nurses.

Description

We are a residential summer camp for children with cancer. Our campers are at camp from one to six weeks each summer. The on-site medical staff are all volunteer doctors and nurses from Memorial Sloan Cancer Center. We offer our campers all of the normal summer camp activities, including a high ropes course, zip line across our lake, radio station, day trips and sailing.
