Description

Akoma Unity Center is a 501(c)(3) organization providing wrap-around services and programs to at-risk youth and families in need. Programs include Youth Afterschool, Summer Program, Rites of Passage- male mentoring program, Thanksgiving Giveaway, Toy Giveaway, SOUL FOOD Community Dinner Night, Annual Jazz In the Park, Annual Breast Cancer Walk, Advocacy for youth of color. Since last year, Akoma has served over 2,500 community members.
