Project Linus is a 100% volunteer organization with a two-fold mission. 1.To provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteers 2.To provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities for the benefit of children

Description

Make a new handmade crochet, knitted, quilted or fleece/flannel security blanket for kids in local hospitals, neonatal centers, homeless/abuse shelters, and individual children in need.

would like to give hope and confort to sick children with cancer. I am a breast cancer survior 2 yrs this Dec.My daughter and I are making hats and shawls,pillows and lap crochet blankets in shades of pink. Taking them to a breast cancer center .
