KwanzaaFest, a 501(c) 3 organization, has served for the past 27 years and produces a community event. The KwanzaaFest event produces about $450,000 in free healthcare over the course of the two day event. The annual festival that hosts more than 30,000 people during a two-day event (the second weekend in December) at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, and has become a staple of substantive family friendly activities and services needed by the community. KwanzaaFest has maintained its FREE admission to the public, thanks to our vast number of sponsors and donors. KwanzaaFest HealthFest addresses the needs of both the underinsured and uninsured through offering free humanitarian health services. The Beat Obesity 5K Walk/Run is a remarkable occasion by hundreds of individuals who are walking and/or running to increase awareness about the health related problems associated with obesity. The Beat Obesity 5K Walk/Run engages people of all ages to run competitively or walk 3.1 miles at their own pace through the historic grounds of Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The KidFest is a treat for the little ones where they will enjoy educational games, creative arts and crafts, child safety, live talent shows, shopping and enjoy live performances on stage.
