Mission Statement

Squirrel Monkey Haven is dedicated to providing a lifelong accredited sanctuary home to squirrel monkeys that are retired from research. We also work with the research community to enhance policies that support monkey retirement, advise researchers and sanctuary professionals during the retirement process, and foster communication between these communities to advance monkey retirement and welfare. Through public outreach, we share knowledge about monkeys and encourage budding primatologists of all ages.

Description
