Mission Statement

The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County connects adoptable pets with loving people and the resources they need to be a family for life.


Volunteering can help you develop new skills, make friends, build networking connections, and give you a new perspective on life-it can even be therapeutic.

If you are interested in helping us, we’d be honored to have you.

We are only accepting volunteer applications for those over 18 at this time. Please sign up to be notified when we start holding our Youth Volunteer orientations.

How to Help

We are in need of volunteers for the following areas:

» Adoption Center (Administration): Support day-to-day office operations.
» Adoption Center (Facilities): Support day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring a safe, clean environment for staff, visitors, and pets.
» Adoption Center (Pet Care): Support day-to-day pet care, providing food, fresh water, walking (and cleaning up), and socialization of adoptable dogs.
» Events:

I love animals and many of my friends and family do as well, I also think they’d appreciate to have a volunteer experience like this too.
