Mission Statement

Teal's Real mission is to educate communities, spread awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, and empower women to take charge of their health. Until there is a reliable diagnostic test to detect for ovarian cancer in the early stages, it is vital that we continue to spread awareness to increase the odds of survival against this "silent killer".

Description

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and our Biggest push or awareness, the state of California will be introducing a resolution recognizing September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the State of California. We will be doing a number of events in September to promote Ovarian Cancer Awareness the #1 cause of gynecologic cancer deaths, 22,240 new cases will be diagnosed in the United States this year, that why awareness is so important and together we can make a differance.
