Mission Statement

To provide meaningful and affordable physical therapy interventions to prevent the progression of the disease for people with Parkinson's Disease in Arizona.

Description

Every year Northern Arizona University's Doctor of Physical Therapy students hold a kids run/2k/5k/10k run/walk and silent auction in conjunction with the Arizona division of the American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA) to raise funding for patients with Parkinson's Disease (PD) in Arizona.

Our students teach local therapeutic Tango/PWR Flow courses and hold various clinics for persons with Parkinson's Disease throughout the year. Working closely with this population has created a deep desire within our students to help make treatment more available and affordable as a means to help prevent the devastating progression of this disease.

This year will be the 12th Annual Go BIG for Parkinson's Walk/Run and Silent Auction!
