Mission Statement

The Humane Society of Pulaski County’s mission is to end animal overpopulation and homelessness in the New River Valley through education, outreach and by offering low-cost spay/neuter services to all pet owners.

Description

We are located in an economically disadvantaged region in rural Virginia where unemployment and poverty levels are high. Founded in 1979 by a group of animal activists, our organization has grown with the community it serves and needs more volunteers to assist with our fundraising and events.
