Mission Statement
The American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Trust (The Trust) was organized to benefit Cavaliers in need who have been lost, abandoned or are unwanted, to provide a cohesive, nationwide network of rescue volunteers and to provide public education in an effort to reduce the number of Cavaliers that come into rescue. We are a Nationwide all volunteer network that comes to the aid of any Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needing rescue. It truly is All About The Dogs. We provide veterinary care, gentle rehabilitation and loving foster homes to Cavaliers needing a second chance on their journey to a forever home. We do this with dignity for the person surrendering the dog and our focus is to care for the Cavalier first and always. Our rescues may come from shelters, strays and individuals going through life changing challenges.
Description
We received our non profit status in 2005. Prior to that we were the direct arm of rescue of the ACKCS Club. Throughout our history we are proud to have on our leadership team a majority of Cavalier breeders who bring a wealth of knowledge of the breed. This incredible knowledge allows us to provide the best care for the dogs needs.
We provide foster homes, and also assist with temporary foster care in natural disaster events as needed. Our goal is to come to the aid of any Cavalier needing assistance.
