Mission Statement

SPAY4LA, Inc. ("SPAY4LA") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide free spay/neuter surgeries, along with basic wellness services, to underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles as a means to decrease shelter intake and euthanasia. The overall goal of our organization is focused on spay and neuter to alleviate the needless pain and suffering of the thousands of animals killed in Los Angeles. Sterilization of companion pets is a key strategy in the fight to reduce shelter euthanasia. Accidental and unwanted litters contribute to stray and feral populations and crowd the shelter system.

Description

We provide qualifying residents of Los Angeles County and City with access to FREE spay/neuter for their pets as a means to decrease the number of stray animals.

Pet owners receive high quality care from our branded mobile surgical unit. Services include sterilization, microchip, and vaccinations.

Surgeries are performed 5 days per week in the target areas.
