Mission Statement

The mission of Designing Women Boutique is to meaningfully grow funding for Sarasota’s arts and human services organizations. We achieve our mission through fundraising events, and by selling gently used donated and consigned unique designer fashion, furniture, art, and accessories in our fashionable Boutique, and through providing estate liquidation and downsizing services to individuals and families in the Sarasota area.

Description

Now celebrating its 14th year of giving back to the Sarasota community, Designing Women Boutique & Estate Services has bestowed over $2,000,000 in grants and re-donations to more than 70 non-profit recipients. The brain-child of co-founders Jean Weidner Goldstein, Diane Roskamp, and Margaret Wise, the boutique is a 501(c)3 that recycles fine fashions, jewelry, home furnishing, accent pieces, antiques and accessories, as well as providing estate liquidation services. The founders set out to establish a new standard in quality, couture fashion and fine home furniture consignment, both in terms of the merchandise featured and the design and furnishings of the boutique itself. With active leadership by the co-founders and the Board of Trustees, the business is managed by a talented and committed team of staff and volunteers.
