Transform Temple-City of Temple

Description

Working with citizens, volunteers, neighborhood leaders and community partners our overall goal is to help create healthy, safe, and vibrant neighborhoods in an effort that is sustainable for the home owner.

Volunteerism: would involve volunteers and groups who have reached out to the City and are interested in being a part of helping others from cleanups to small repairs.

Contractors: are needed for instances where the code violations or issues require extensive work. Having contractors who are willing to donate their time at a significant discount or at a no cost rate as part of participation.

We are also in the beginning process to have Sponsors/Donors: seeking sponsors and donors from the community in support of the program. Since the violations or property issues occur on private property and the needs or concerns are that of the elderly, disabled or a crime victim. A fundraising/sponsorship program would be needed.
