Description

Making each day count . An important part of the Hospice team is volunteers. A volunteer may run errands, or even just sit and read to the patient. The gifts of compassion and care make an amazing difference in the lives of patients and families. As a hospice volunteer, you will be oriented to a specialized program so you can understand our mission, philosophy, and goals. We will give you the skills needed to assist patients and their families. You will find it to be the most rewarding thing that you can do to make a difference in your life and someone else’s life. Volunteering affirms and enhances your acquired skills and knowledge.

There’s a lot to gain from being a hospice volunteer. Satisfaction, greater self-knowledge and spiritual growth.
