Description

Ron and Tina Ackerman, Jason's parents, created this 501(c)(3) organization in his memory to encourage students who want to thrive despite enduring personal tragedy in their youth.

Jason Ackerman Memorial Scholarships are the Foundation’s primary mission. Awards are granted annually through an application process and chosen by the Scholarship Committee, a qualified assembly of educators and business professionals, with the goal of distributing funding to applicants with the greatest financial need and the greatest desire to be a positive influence in our community.

Because of Jason can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from family, friends, and members of our community.
