Assistance League volunteers transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs.

Description

The Santa Ana chapter was organized in 1935. Assistance League of Santa Ana currently has 250 member volunteers working to make Santa Ana a better place to live and work through our programs. In 2015-16, our dedicated members volunteered over 13,000 hours. We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.

Our Operation School Bell provides clothing, school supplies, hygiene kits, books, dental services, scholarships, glasses and more for the children in Santa Ana. We sponsor adoption of families for gifts and invite them to a holiday party in December for a Gift of Giving event. Our Assisteens, besides doing numerous volunteer events, visit the French Park Care Center to provide gifts and holiday cheer to shut ins. Our Outreach committee works with various organizations in our community to provide them additional support.
