In 1997 an Alpharetta resident, realized an unavoidable need to open a women’s clinic to offer women in crisis pregnancies, life affirming care. With one part time director and a handful of servant hearted Christian women, the birth of a legacy began in a little red brick house now known as A Beacon of Hope. That first year, 64 women were lovingly served. The first baby born was placed for adoption. At our 20th Anniversary celebration in 2018, that young man thanked his mother for giving him the gift of life.

Now, we have become the first pregnancy organization in metro Atlanta to be medically-accredited. This means that a nationally-recognized third-party organization (the AAHC) came on site and verified that we meet over 550 rigorous standards for exceptional patient care. Our vision is to be the first resource chosen for unplanned pregnancy and sexual health decisions; saving the lives of the unborn and leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We praise God that the percent of patients who change their minds from abortion to life at our clinics is twice the national average. By the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we have saved 7,204 babies from abortion in metro Atlanta alone!
