Mission Statement

The mission and purpose of Memory for Memory, Inc. ("Memory") is to increase the funding, education and awareness of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. To achieve this, Memory for Memory provides a service to consumers and businesses by recycling unwanted or unused electronics that they would otherwise not know how to properly dispose of or recycle. Memory for Memory monetizes the recycled electronics and puts that money back to work in the Alzheimer's community As part of the recycling process, Memory for Memory educates donors about the severity of Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Description

Old electronics have value. Some can be cleaned, repaired or sold, and others may be dismantled into basic parts. Memory for Memory can monetize this growing, and unwanted, E-waste stream by repairing and reselling the donated items, or tearing the items down and generating revenue from the commodity parts. All profits are donated back to charities and services that are specifically focused on finding a cure for Alzheimer’s as well as services to help those impacted. in 2017, Memory for Memory donated 72% of its net profit back to various charities and services that are focused on finding and cure, or helping those impacted with this disease.
