REDLAND ROCK PIT ABANDONED DOGS PROJECT INC

Description

On June 28, 2015 eleven animal minded people came together in response to a caged dog being seemingly being held at the rock pit. At one time or another, all had asked to see this place prior to this, however the person supposedly feeding the dogs would never give the information on how to get to the Rock Pit and truck yards of Hialeah Gardens. The dog in the cage had all of Facebook in an uproar. We were all being fed lies that the people on the lots were having sex with the dogs, using them in dog fights and any other ungodly thing they wanted to do to the animals. No worries about the baby in the cage, he was rescued and is currently living the life! Prior to us going to the rock pit and truck yards that night, there had been a woman who had already been feeding and caring for the dogs even being able to place them in reputable rescues. This awesome and courageous woman, had no idea what was happening on Facebook as she really never used her page and she did know all of us only a couple she had worked with over the years. That night, we got to meet her face to face and learned she had been feeding these babies for the last 10 years and we made a commitment to her that no matter what, we would assist her and she would never have to do it alone again. A year later, we are still feeding and caring for every baby we encounter in that area.
