Mission Statement
The mission of the San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce (SFAACC) is rooted in the belief that a prosperous African American community fosters a safe, nurturing environment to raise our children, own homes and businesses, and contributes to the overall well being of San Francisco. As an alliance of African American business owners, we are committed to: • Providing advocacy for government and corporate contracts • Providing leadership for the African American business community • Promoting business growth and development • Providing technical training for members • Developing strategic corporate partnerships • Providing networking events so that members encourage other members and the African American community to patronize member businesses • Building coalitions with groups of common purpose • Preparing African American Youth to be the work force and business leaders of tomorrow • Providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy
Description
The San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce (SFAACC) is one of California’s most influential minority business organizations, representing and promoting African American business owners in San Francisco. Through advocacy and economic development, SFAACC is creating a firm economic base that supports the self-determination and survival of African American businesses. SFAACC is a non-profit 501c6 corporation.
