Mission Statement

The Neighborhood Initiative Program (NIP) has been assisting the elderly, single parent and persons with disabilities with minor exterior home repairs since 2004. We have recently expanded the program to now include those who have bravely served our country, our veterans. Projects may include home maintenance, repairs and yard work. This program helps residents continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes and also helps to make their neighborhoods a better place to live. This joint effort between the City of North Richland Hills, businesses, non-profits and churches, is helping homeowners who are struggling to make necessary exterior home repairs.

Description

A City of North Richland Hills commission dedicated to engaging neighborhoods, businesses and residents in promoting a clean and beautiful community. Our programs address beautification, litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling and more. There are many ways to volunteer and make an impact. With the support of our community we can make a real difference for generations to come. Programs include litter cleanup events, beautification of public spaces and assisting the elderly, disabled and veterans of our community with exterior property maintenance.
