The mission of Soldiers’ Angels is to provide aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families. Thank those who are serving and served our country in a fun but meaningful way! Become Coffee and Donuts Coordinator for Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Volunteer's assignments will include bit not limited to order and pick up Donuts and any other needed items for the specific events, coordinate with the sponsor company on volunteers, timing, and other logistics, coordinate with the VA Medical Center to ensure any VA supplies are in stock and available for the event.

Planning special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services. Responsible for oversight of all community events for Soldiers’ Angels. Manage Soldiers’ Angels programs, volunteer opportunities, and donations. Coordinate delivery of Soldiers’ Angels support to local service members, military units, veterans, and their families, Veteran support are non-VA sponsored events. Responsible for recruitment, training and retention of all community activities and event volunteers. Coordination of the volunteer resources of Soldiers’ Angels and all aspects of their participation in the assigned community events and activities. Build network of volunteers and community support network. Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirements and coordinate with the VA Representative to ensure division of the goods between the VA and the community. Coordinate with the VA Representative and the Site Coordinator for all national campaign support within their site. Attend weekly meetings with staff manager. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work events on occasional evenings and weekends. Annual evaluation of team by Soldiers’ Angels supervisor.

Meet with key VA leaders, community leaders and other like-minded nonprofit leaders. Promote the site and build relationships within the Cincinnati area by serving a Site Coordinator for Soldiers’ Angels. Work with local donors, including individuals and businesses to facilitate relationships. Develop local partnership opportunities and attend working groups, chamber events, and other key events focused on collaboration and networking in the assigned community. Oversee VA and Community Representatives; the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and growth of site; as well as, all special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services. Coordination of the volunteer resources of Soldiers’ Angels and all aspects of their participation in the assigned community and at the VA. Request and manage inventory for veteran patients within the VA and the community. Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.
