Mission Statement

Our mission is to develop true leaders in community service by collaboratively creating and hosting health education workshops and screenings for medically disadvantaged communities. Coordinators have the opportunity to develop their own programs through our collective support system and become leaders for communities who desperately need them. We are currently recruiting motivated students to join us as fellow coordinators in making a positive impact in these communities.

Description

The Community Health Outreach Project is a student-run community organization co-founded by a group of pre-medical students from CSU East Bay Pre-professional Health Academic Program. The organization was established in 2017 with a focus to provide health-related workshops to the underserved populations in Hayward and surrounding areas. We have been working closely with several low-income housing projects, and our network is rapidly expanding.
