SYMPHONY CHORUS

Description

The SymphoNYChorus (TSC) was founded in 2008 by Henric Idestrom. Henric came to TSC after serving as Chair of the Arts at Rocky Mountain College for 8 years. TSC had a tremendous amount of growth over the years, growing from the 6 members that attended the first rehearsal to our current group of 35 vocalists and 15 instrumentalists.

The SymphoNYChorus is a group of volunteers committed to professional excellence with members coming together from all boroughs of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. We put two major productions a year, one at Christmas and a themed concert in the spring, while also performing regular repertoire in the region once or twice a month. Our music spans across the genres - gospel, contemporary, classical, Broadway, spirituals and more.
