Mission Statement

The mission of Concept 7 is to ease the suffering of abused and neglected children by providing a nurturning and supportinve environment, to begin the process of healing and damage inflicted upon them; and to support and educate foster families to enable them to successfully nurture the growth and develpment of each child.

Description

Concept 7's foster care program offers an entire range of placement services to boys and girls, 0-18 years of age. Children admitted into the program are assessed to determine their unique physical, mental emotional, educational and social needs.A Concept 7 social worker individually tailors a program to meet those special needs and provides follow-up by a minimum of once a week face to face contact with the child and foster parents. This also includes frequent contact witht he child's school and therapist, and supervision of visits with natural family.
